About Believers City Church

Our Vision

Our Vision is to be a church filled with people that have a desire to reach people, the ability to teach people, the heart to sow into people, and the willingness to grow people for the glory of God.

Reaching People

Reaching People is the number one goal for us as believers. As believers we are ambassadors of the Kingdom of God. It is our responsibility to ensure that everyone we encounter knows about Christ through our commitment to evangelism.

Teaching People

Teaching People is only second to reaching since we can not teach if we never reach. Jesus Christ has entrusted us to not only introduce people to Him but teach people to live for him through discipleship.

Sowing Into People

Sowing Into People is our passion because you cannot expect anything to grow if there is never anything sown. We believe strongly that God has called us to sow into the lives of others.

Growing People

Growing People is our expected outcome for those we have reached, taught, and sowed into. It is our prayer that we are able to grow people in away that encourages them to start the vision cycle within their own life.

Matthew 7:24-27

24 “Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them, may be compared to a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and yet it did not fall, for it had been founded on the rock. 26 Everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not act on them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. 27 The rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and it fell—and great was its fall.”

1 Thessalonians 5:11

11 “Therefore [a]encourage one another and build up one another, just as you also are doing.”

John 13:34

34 “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another.”

Matthew 5:14-16

14 “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; 15 nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. 16 Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.”

Matthew 28:19-20

19 “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

Hebrews 10:23-25

23 “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful; 24 and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, 25 not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.”

Ecclesiastes 5:18

18 “Here is what I have seen to be good and fitting: to eat, to drink and enjoy oneself in all one’s labor in which he toils under the sun during the few years of his life which God has given him; for this is his [d]reward.”
